Meagan Monique Good was born on August 8th of 1981 within the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle. Her mother was her manager during her teens and her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. She grew up living in Canyon Country with her three brothers and sisters in California. When she was the age of 4, she began acting. Early on in her profession her career, Ms. Williams worked as a television extra. Her debut film, "Friday", was released in 1995 when she turned 13. First gaining attention during 1997 due to her performance in the role of Cisely batiste (a teenager who is struggling) as a troubled teenager in Eve's Bayou, for which she won two nominations as well as an N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good performed in short films and on television over the next few several years. She started taking role roles that were more mature from the beginning of 2000. She was Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. show that ran from 1998 until 2001.
