Jacqueline Fernandez
Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress, model and actor mostly active with the Indian film industry. Jacqueline Fernandez is an 2007, Miss Sri Lanka Universe winner. Fernandez has Canadian, Sri Lankan, Malaysian and multiracial descent was born in Canada, and spent the majority of her childhood in Bahrain. After obtaining a mass communication degree at the University of Sydney, she worked in Sri Lanka as a television reporter for many years before getting into the model industry. In the wake of representing Sri Lanka at Miss Universe 2006, she became one of the top models in Sri Lanka. Her role as Jasmine was cast in the Sujoy Ghosh film 'Aladin' as part of her professional tour in India. Her breakthrough role came about in the year 2011, when she was chosen to play the lead female character Priya in 'Murder 2'. Fernandez was able to build a career following the film which was both a success in the theaters and in the eyes of critics. Since then, she's appeared in films like Housefull 2 or 3, Race 2, Definition of Fear, as well as Judwaa 2 She is the brand ambassador for several companies and has received many honors. Active in the community, she is a supporter of several charitable and non-profit organizations.
